Salman Khan‘s film Bharat garnered a lot of attention recently when Priyanka Chopra decided to exit the film. The director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to announce Priyanka’s exit and congratulate her on the engagement to Nick Jonas. The exit, however, left the makers of the film upset and in a fix as Salman had already started shooting for the film and PeeCee’s left mere weeks before her shoot was to begin. However, the producers were relieved just in time as Katrina Kaif decided to take up the role that was written for PC. A source close to the film has now revealed to us that Kat didn’t just get the role, the character was in fact re-written keeping her mind.

Earlier Katrina’s part was written and crafted under a certain bracket, as it was written for Priyanka. With film’s shooting still going on, Ali has now increased the graph of Kat’s character. There’s more dialogue, action and drama added to her role which will be very much liked by the audiences. In Bharat, Katrina will have a way bigger role than any of her films.
Looks like fans have another reason to enjoy Katrina and Salman teaming up once again for Bharat!
