Sara Ali Khan is gearing up to take her first step into Bollywood with her debut movie, Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Up until now, we’ve seen her multiple times outside the gym, at parties with her fam but TBH, we were waiting to see what her promotional style would be like.
Sara could easily be defined as a desi girl through and through. Most of the time she’s spotted by the paps, she has been seen wearing super pretty yet comfy salwar–kurtas, and we love that she kept the desi vibe going with this look too.
Celebrity stylist, Tanya Ghavri picked this gorgeous all-black Sabyasachi Navratna lehenga and paired it with a jet black Aakash–tara blouse. This black lehenga was hand embroidered with crystals and pearls and also had colourful velvet appliqué and zardosi work. At first glance, this might just look like another black lehenga but on more digging, we found out that Sara’s lehenga was a layer of black tulle over a hand-painted organza skirt! How beautiful is that?
Tanya chose to go the minimal jewellery route and teamed this stunning lehenga with earrings from the Sabyasachi‘s collection, making sure there was a double dose of this designer’s epic creations. Scroll through the photos below to see how magical she looked:
