Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are man and wife now and this is not new information to us. We all know that the two actors tied the knot in a Konkani wedding ceremony at Lake Como in Italy. We saw the first photo of the newlyweds, groom Ranveer’s photo from the wedding and also saw photos of the dulha arrive at the wedding venue like a true Bollywood hero. Now, we have got to know some more details from the wedding.

A source who was present at the wedding informed us that Ranveer and Deepika got married in a traditional Konkani Brahmin ceremony that lasted 4 hours. For the wedding, Deepika wore a red and gold Sabyasachi bridal lehenga. The ladkiwaale (Deepika’s side) were dressed in traditional South Indian attires. The men were wearing kurta and mundu, the traditional outfit for men.

The source also revealed the details about the food that was there on the menu at the #DeepVeer wedding. The guests were served authentic Konkani Mangalorean cuisine like Pooran Poli, Rassam and the likes on a banana leaf.

From food to the clothes, we like how the South Indian traditions were followed at the wedding.

Though we do not have pictures of Deepika from the wedding, we can imagine how beautiful she would have looked in her red and gold bridal outfit!
