Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh‘s wedding may have been hosted in Italy but the duo made sure it was as desi as possible. The couple followed their traditional rituals to the T and tied the knot on 14th and 15th of November. While the one on 14th was done according to Konkani traditions honouring the bride’s side of the family, 15th saw the Sindhi wedding ceremony called, Anand Karaj.

According to a report in the leading daily, Mid-Day, every little detail was planned and taken care of, even an Indian priest from Amritsar was present to officiate the wedding. The couple wanted to ensure they follow all the traditions and made arrangements for a temporary Gurudwara to be created inside the villa itself. The venue was decorated with stunning red roses which matched the bride and groom’s outfits too!

#Deeepveer’s wedding has been one of the most talked-about and anticipated weddings of the year. The couple wanted a private celebration and fans couldn’t get a glimpse of the celebrations at all. However, Deepika and Ranveer posted two photos, one from the Konkani wedding and the other from the Sindhi one and yes, it was worth the wait. They’re the personification of a glorious love and we wish them a blissful married life.
