I generally have go-to blue jeans or black leggings you’ll mostly see me in, even though I have tons of different silhouettes of pants just lying there in my closet. But I have decided to keep my basics on the back burner for now and bring out those different shapes of pants this season. Also, shopping for them is on my agenda, and Sonakshi Sinha‘s recent look is my latest inspo.
For an event in town, she opted for a casual look but with a twist. She had on a basic black cropped tee from H&M, which celebrity stylist Mohit Rai and Aakruti Sejpal styled with grey contemporary jodhpuri pants from Nicobar. The comfy trousers are made from organic cotton and have front crossover pleats with buttoned cuff hems. Also, the way she has kept the two buttons undone on the hem added to the flare. These easy-breezy trousers looked super cool on her. The accessories made an impact too with the pointed toe stilettos from Samuele Failli, silver disc earrings from Misho Designs and black angular mini sunglasses.
I love the easiness of the whole look and the way the trousers are indirectly the focal point of the outfit. A stylish pair of pants do make a lot of difference and adds versatility to a basic wardrobe. I am definitely going to invest in jodhpuri pants now. What about you?
