Our Sunday just got a whole lot better with the pictures of the happy, shiny newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh at the airport! It seems like they are taking the couple twinning and winning game to a whole new level. They colour coordinated yet again while returning from their destination wedding but this time they were in their all-desi avatars.
The couple went for another head-to-toe Sabyasachi look and wore beige kurta and churidar. Deepika wore a brocade handwoven red dupatta with floral motifs, whereas, Ranveer had on a bandhgala brocade jacket with elephant motifs. On closer inspection, we can also see that even their mojaris were coordinated! Deepika had on her traditional wedding chooda and further accessorised with statement jhumkas and a choker necklace. Plus, the sindoor and bindi enhance her blushing bride vibe, doesn’t it?
Of course, our eyes were on her engagement ring too! We haven’t received a clear view but it looks like an emerald cut diamond nestled between two diamonds. We would love to have a closer look at it and know what’s the actual cut and style of the ring.
