After news came out that Ishqbaaz‘s lead actress, Surbhi Chandna will be quitting the show, #Shivika fans have been pretty disappointed. Such is the popularity of Surbhi’s character, Anika, that fans have been making pleas in order to keep her on the show. Many want that either her character be retained or the show should end on a happy note with Anika & Shivaay’s union.
Some reports suggest that the show’s producer Gul Khan wanted to change the track in order to garner more TRPs, while others are claiming that Surbhi quit by choice as she did not want to play the role of a mother so early in her career. The show will reportedly see a leap in the coming week and from what we hear, Nakuul Mehta will play the role of Shivaay’s son, Shivansh.
Furthermore, according to reports, Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami have now been approached to play the female lead as the makers want a popular face opposite Nakuul. We wonder which of these talented actress will eventually take over the show?! Any guesses? Tell us in the comments below.
