The next few months are going to be packed with the hustle and bustle of the wedding and festive season. It’s the time when all of us get invited to a ton of weddings. And if you’re getting married yourself, then it’s a really hectic time for you. While it’s an exciting time for everyone, there are many things to check off that to-do list for sure. There’s decor, photographers, venues, outfits and more! And of course, your wedding cake is one of them. And if you haven’t yet booked that perfectly delicious cake yet, here is a list of Mumbai’s best cake artists you might want to consider for your big day. Now TBH, I didn’t book mine till very recently, (’cause Imma #Bridechilla) but I got lucky with the best! I’ve listed down some cake vendors I personally considered and finally narrowed it down to my fav!
1. Tier Nom Patisserie (My Pick)
Vahishta Zandbaf is quickly becoming the most talked about pastry chef in the city. she trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Her designs are as good as the flavour of the cakes she creates. She’s extremely friendly, approachable and gives you the leeway of making as many changes as you’d like.
2. Deliciae
Bunty Mahajan, head pastry chef, has been around for quite some time and has mastered the cake business on the way. Deliciae designed PeeCee and Nick Jonas‘ roka cake too!
3. Vanilla Beans
They’ve recently ventured into the business but their flavours are a class apart. They’ve got flavours like Blender’s Pride whiskey glaze, red wine chocolate, JW Black Label glaze and more!
4. Ann Marie
She’s a firm believer of rich decadent flavour as opposed to a decorative cake. And hence, if you’re looking for a cake with more focus on amazing flavour, you should definitely pick her!
5. Toshin
The most melt-in-the-mouth cakes I’ve ever had. TBH, all our celebratory cakes are from here, for a reason!
6. Cocoamaya Patisserie
Another place I was considering was this one. Even though they’re new in the business, they’ve done a pretty good job with their flavours and presentation.
7. Le 15 Patisserie
Most people prefer to go for a cake from here. They customise them and their flavours are just to die for. If you’re super confused about choosing a vendor, this is a classic and you really can’t go wrong with them.
8. Cocoatease
Their speciality is themed cakes. If you have a specific theme in mind, just convey it to them and leave it to the pros!
These are all really unique in their own way and I suggest you choose the one that suits your personality the most. Make sure to try them out before you book them!
