The #DeepVeer fever isn’t gonna die out anytime soon and fanning this flame higher is their latest reception looks. Ranveer is known for his ‘crazy’ fashion sense and we were waiting till this crazy was manifested at his wedding too. And we got what we wanted last night! But to our surprise, it wasn’t just Ranveer but also Deepika who showed us her OTT fashion side.
For the grand reception Ranveer’s sister threw for them last night, he wore an OTT Manish Arora creation; a handcrafted anti-fit long silk jacket with the designer’s signature heart motif, complete with a leopard head (or as he called it his pussycat) attached to his right shoulder. He also wore layered jewellery from Amrapali to add more pizzazz to his look. Sources also say that the event lighting has been customized to UV to spotlight his ensemble. So you could say Ranveer was truly lit last night, he sure did look lit too!
In a video that’s doing the rounds of Instagram, Ranveer said that Deepika ‘obliged’ him by wearing such an ostentatious look last night, and even called her Frieda Kahlo on acid. Yup—that’s Ranveer Singh for you!
Deepika’s look wasn’t like any other bridal reception look we’ve seen before. Gabriel Georgiou did her hair up and adorned it with fresh red roses and celebrity makeup artist Sandhya Shekhar picked a smouldering beauty look for DP giving her midnight blue eyes and blush pink lips to go with her OTT, blooming Sabyasachi lehenga.
