Is your calendar filled with weddings this season? From close friends to family members, it seems that everyone around me is tying the knot this year! Since I definitely don’t want to splurge on a professional makeup artist for everyone’s functions, I decided to search Instagram for some inspiration. If you too have a calendar like mine, here are some cool, celebrity-inspired looks you can try out!
1. Deepika Padukone’s Flawless Cat-Eye
There’s no doubt that Deepika looked absolutely stunning at her own wedding! Over the years however, she’s pulled off many looks that can be worn by wedding guests… especially this one. The crisp, precise flick and nude-pink lipstick look sophisticated and can be paired with literally any outfit.
2. Alia Bhatt’s Fresh Look
Alia’s minimalistic vibe here is one of my favourite looks to wear. The clean, fresh base plays up the brows and eye makeup perfectly, without being over the top. If you are planning to imitate this look, I recommend using a cream or liquid foundation so that you can get a seamless base.
3. Sonam Kapoor’s Colourful Eyes
Sonam defines all kinds of #makeupinspo! Take a leaf from her book and play around with a solid shade of eye shadow. Whether you match the colour to your outfit or opt for a contrasting hue, your lids will definitely turn heads.
4. Kiara Advani’s Golden Glow
Weddings and glowing skin go hand-in-hand. If you like to make your cheekbones pop, go for a blinding highlight like Kiara. For maximum impact, layer on a powder formula over a cream highlighter and keep the rest of your makeup matte.
5. Anushka Sharma’s Classic Style
Smoky eyes, nude lips and bronzed cheeks… Anushka’s timeless look is ideal for any wedding function. Instead of sticking to only black eye shadows, add a few earthy browns like she has to get a softer effect.
6. Priyanka Chopra’s Metallic Magic
Priyanka’s dazzling makeup is exactly the kind of look I want to wear at my best friend’s sangeet! The pale pink, frosted eyes pair perfectly with her metallic, berry lips to create a glamorous, yet elegant look.

If you don’t have too much time to fuss around with your makeup, take inspiration from Aishwarya’s simple, but statement-worthy look. A swipe of red lipstick will make you look put together, without the need to put in too much effort with the rest of your face.
