Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an extremely private ceremony with a limited number of guests. Thanks to a strict no-phone policy, no pictures of the couple were leaked either. Although we all were quite anxious (and slightly impatient too) about seeing the first look of the couple, we understood the measures they took to guard their privacy. It was their special day, after all, they can celebrate it however they want.
There were reports that Anil Kapoor was upset with #DeepVeer about not being invited to the wedding. He dismissed these rumours at the recently held International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where he was a part of a panel discussion with his daughter, Rhea Kapoor.
Here’s what he said:
I don’t know where the news of me being upset with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for not calling me came from. I am going to their reception on the 1st December and I am looking forward.
There you go! Nobody is upset and everybody is looking forward to December 1. Ranveer is known to be really close to Anil Kapoor. He does the perfect impersonation of the senior actor and the two of them get along like a house on fire. Let’s hope we get to see crazy videos of these two fire-crackers from the upcoming party.
