Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are all set to become man and wife soon. The couple’s wedding festivities were expected to be held in two gorgeous locations of Jodhpur but there may be a slight change of plans in that. While the wedding is still being hosted at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the pre-wedding festivities i.e. sangeet and mehendi won’t be happening at the originally decided location i.e the Mehrangarh Fort.
According to a report in Bollywoodshaadis.com, the reason for the change in locations was the upcoming elections in the area. Turns out, PeeCee wanted police protection to travel between Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. However, the officials refused the request owing to the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan. Hence, in order to avoid any unexpected delays or problems, the sangeet venue is now moved to Umaid Bhawan Palace just a few days before the ceremony.
If Nick and Priyanka‘s Roka was any indication, the wedding will also certainly be a stunning affair. I can’t wait for the Grand desi wedding ceremony on 2nd December and the gorgeous white wedding on the 3rd! PeeCee will definitely make a beautiful bride, agreed?
