Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas‘ wedding pictures have been giving us major feels. The lovebirds tied the knot in two ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The Christian wedding took place on 1st December and the Hindu wedding rituals took place on 2nd December. We came across some details of the Hindu rituals that happened yesterday and PeeCee followed all the customs, as per a report in Midday. The ceremonies began with a puja at 8 am on 2nd December.
A source close to the tabloid revealed,
Nick was intrigued as he joined his bride for the mauli ceremony (where the sacred thread is tied on the wrists of the groom and bride). Priyanka’s brother Siddharth was constantly by the Jonas’ side, explaining the significance of each ritual to them.
Priyanka also had a quick haldi ceremony before the chura ceremony which took place in the afternoon. PeeCee’s uncle gifted her 21 bangles which were bathed in milk and rose petals, as per the ritual.

Her friends, including Arpita Khan Sharma, Srishti Behl Arya, Anjula Acharia and cousin Parineeti Chopra, followed it up by tying kalide.
After the Sehrabandi puja which happened at 6 pm, The Hindu wedding began where a family member of the groom tied the turban. As per the tabloid, the crowd cheered for the bride and groom when they came face-to-face at the mandap. Priyanka also teared up during the jaimala session. Piggy Chops also got emotional during the white wedding because she was missing her father sorely.
