Winter is finally here! Well, not the one with snow, here in Mumbai at least. But we do enjoy this not-so-sweaty climate every year. And when we think of winter, we can’t help but think of hot chocolate, soups and well, in my case, ramen! Ramen is a really delicious Japanese dish that is served in a bowl typically with wheat noodles, meat broth and miso or soy sauce. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, here are a few restaurants in Mumbai who serve the best ramen bowls you should definitely try this winter.

🚨WARNING : LONG CAPTION 🚨Funny story, like always @kelesehatkeliyeachehai and I went to have Ramen and again we had a fight about which ramen to go with. Now we both have completely different tastes in ramen. He likes it with shoyu broth which is basically the chicken broth with soy sauce and other spices. And also he hates prawns. But I like prawns and I love ramen with miso broth, miso is fermented soy bean paste so its salty and sour in taste mildly spicy. So after arguing for straight 15mins we decided to order 2 separate bowls of ramen. Believe me, we were so happy because we never had an entire ramen to ourselves because we are always broke. Of course we were broke today too, but today we were over ambitious about our food choices. Anyway the food came, and the ramen bowl is bigger than our faces. Bigger than @kelesehatkeliyeachehai ‘s face too. And usually one bowl is enough for both of us. Still anyway back to us with the order, I decided to challenge him with a fun race. Who finishes the ramen faster. And guess who won ? He got it done at 14mins. And I gave up at 16mins because I over ate. Also @pincukairoli please host a raken eating competition we need it and we already have a potential winner……………………. Life lesson : never have an entire bowl to yourselves unless you eat A LOT. #ramen #challenge #pincuk #bowl #noodles #soup #shoyu #miso #niwatori #japanese #food #japan #eggs #veggies #chicken
