Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions has been a launching pad for many star kids in the last few years. In the early 2010s, it gave us the supremely talented trio Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra with Student Of The Year. This year, it gave us Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter with Dhadak and it’s safe to say we were blown away with both their performances. At the beginning of the year, Karan had also announced that he would be launching two new actresses – Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday into the film industry with his upcoming venture Student Of The Year 2. Now, looks like another star kid will be taken under the Dharma wing and it is none other than Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor‘s daughter Shanaya Kapoor.
She was recently spotted outside the Dharma office and we feel like she may be next in line to become a Dharma heroine! While her Instagram account remains private, we have seen her in many of the Instagram posts by various members of the Kapoor family. Moreover, she is also a really good friend of starlet Ananya Panday who is gearing up for her upcoming movie SOTY 2. Well… you know what they say, birds of the same feather flock together.
Not to mention, the talent powerhouse that is her father Sanjay Kapoor and her uncle Anil Kapoor. It is only natural that Shanaya would want to follow in their footsteps.
While we’ve not got any confirmation of the same, we are super excited to see another member of the Kapoor Khandan on screen. The most recent addition from the Kapoor family has been Janhvi and we know how amazing she was in her debut movie!
Shanaya recently celebrated her 19th birthday with her best friends Ananya and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and all her Kapoor cousins.
