This year, Kerala suffered its worst monsoon floods in more than a century. Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Shraddha Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and others extending support for the people affected by floods, either on social media or by donating a generous amount. Now, Jacqueline Fernandez is also doing her bit for the people of Kerala. Habitat Of Humanity, an NGO, is launching the second edition of Jacqueline builds for her Kerala relief work. Jacqueline will be visiting the areas such as Thuruth and Naduvannur and she plans to interact with the affected families.

The actress said,

Habitat for Humanity helped me put together ‘Jacqueline Builds’, for Tamil Nadu back in 2016. When we started we did not really expect the amount of help that we received from all over India. Hence the second edition of ‘Jacqueline builds’ for Kerala was but natural. Our small support with only help to not only rebuild their homes but also their lives, in a way changing bringing some positivity around. The most important thing in this initiative is we start from the bottom, Right from carrying the bricks to putting cement and constructing a whole new place which they can call ‘know as ‘Home’. The happiness they get and the relief they get as they again will be having a shelter to live under to be with their family is priceless.

We are proud of you, Jacqueline!
