Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in two different ceremonies last week. The Christian wedding was held on 1st December and the Hindu wedding on 2nd December. People from all over the globe were celebrating the couple and wished them on social media. Then when People Magazine shared the pictures from their weddings, the internet couldn’t stop talking about how they looked so much in love! While everyone couldn’t get enough of Nickyanka, there was an article in The Cut, a magazine in New York, with the title- ‘Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Love For Real?’. The article called PeeCee ‘a global scam artist’ and received a lot of backlash on social media.

Priyanka’s brother-in-law Joe Jonas and his fiance Sophie Turner also took to Twitter to slam the article. Not only them, Sonam Kapoor too lent her support to Piggy Chops. Soon after, the article was pulled down. Now, Priyanka’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra has reacted to the article. In an interview with Mid-Day, she said that they don’t want to give publicity to such things.

She said,

It is a happy phase for our family, and we don’t want to be disturbed by such idiotic things. I am happy that my daughter is married to someone she truly loves. I don’t want to give publicity to those fools. There are some donkeys who do anything they feel like, but their actions don’t affect us.

Priyanka had also reacted to the article saying,

I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can’t disturb it.

That’s exactly how such things need to be dealt with.
