Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee was reportedly detained by the Mumbai Police pertaining to the death of a diamond merchant, Rajeshwar Udani. The actress was allegedly interrogated after the 57-year old trader was found dead in a forest in Panvel near the Raigad district. He was missing since 10 days before his body was finally found last Friday.
Devoleena, however, was not arrested as per her lawyer’s statement. According to a report in NDTV, her role in the case hasn’t been revealed but the police hinted that some more women from the entertainment industry might be called for questioning.
