We see a number of weddings in Tinsel Town every year, and this year was no different. Pretty sure you know all about the major weddings that took place these past couple of months – and the excitement they brought around. One can only wonder which couple will bite the dust in 2019 and we have a prospective (wish) list!
Let’s take a look at some of the romantic relationships currently brewing in Bollywood:
1. Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades
Arjun Rampal got divorced from his wife, Mehr Jessia earlier this year in May. The two were married since 1998 and have two daughters – Mahika and Myra. Soon after they split, Arjun was often spotted hanging out with African model and fashion designer, Gabriella Demetriades. They even took a vacation together in Cognac, France.
Well, if the two have found love in each other, then we are very happy for them. They make a handsome pair, in my opinion.
2. Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar
Farhan too, got divorced from Adhuna Bhabani in 2017 and is reportedly dating VJ-model, Shibani Dandekar for a few months now. An Instagram post of Shibani walking with a mysterious guy gave us an inkling of their budding romance and was later confirmed by Farhan himself.
They make a cute couple, we say, don’t you agree?! Meanwhile, Farhan’s ex-wife has also moved on and is allegedly dating Dino Morea‘s brother, Nicolo Morea.
3. Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora
Perhaps the most talked about relationship in Btown currently! Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora raised quite a few eyebrows when word got around that the two were dating. Maybe it’s the age gap that some find hard to ignore, but I am definitely shipping them the minute they make their relationship official. (They kinda have, I guess.)
Should we start forming a couple hashtag already? #Araika, maybe? Sorry, I am bad at this. A little help in the comments section, please?
4. Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor
Aww! Janhvi and Ishaan are the sweet, new, young lovers on the block. If at all rumours of them dating are true and if their relationship goes a long way – it will be a beautiful story to narrate – how they met and fell in love on the sets of their debut film. (I am sure Karan Johar will be on cloud nine, if that happens, considering he’ll be the cupid in their case.)
Very much like Genelia D’Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh who met and fell in love on the sets of their first film, Tujhe Meri Kasam, and never seize from giving us #CoupleGoals.
5. Vicky Kaushal and Harleen Sethi
This one is off the record, for now, but the country’s latest heartthrob is probably in love with actress, Harleen Sethi. Both were tight-lipped about it, until Vicky dedicated a romantic song for his bae on #NoFilterNeha. I know many girls must be upset about Vicky’s not-so-single-anymore status, but hey, he may have found true love. And we should be happy for him!
6. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Hello, favourite new couple! I have wanted to see them together on screen since the beginning. Turns out, my wish was granted off screen too, as Ranbir and Alia are doing Brahmastra together and also dating each other. Their respective parents approve of this union and have given their green signal.
Oh also, they are being called #Ralia in the virtual world, in case you didn’t know.
