Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas released photos of their super fun mehendi ceremony yesterday and boy did it look so full of colour and love! The latest ones to hit our Instagram feed is from their sangeet. In an interview with Vogue Magazine (US), Priyanka jokingly said,
“People might need a vacation after this wedding.”
and from what we saw of the sangeet ceremony, we have a feeling that PC’s light-hearted statement might just stand true.
For the mehendi ceremony, Priyanka went all out with a colourful anarkali designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. For the sangeet too, she chose to wear a custom-made, fully hand-embroidered sequinned silver and gold saree by the same designer house. But we have to say that her look totally took us back to her 2008, ‘Desi Girl‘ avatar. The noodle strap on her saree blouse, beautiful bouncy hair, nude, minimal makeup as well as the understated glam of her saree—all of it proved that she is the OG desi girl and always will be.
Priyanka and Nick are still celebrating their union with close friends and family in Jodhpur. The couple has been releasing photos from their wedding on their Instagram profiles and since pictures and videos from the sangeet and mehendi have been so full of happiness and love, we cannot wait to see what the pictures from their nuptials look like!
