2018 has been a year of content-driven movies that did epic business at the box-office. Among those were some newbie actors that made their debut and left their mark like Janhvi Kapoor, Ishan Khatter, Sara Ali Khan and so on. As we draw closer to the end of this year, here are new faces that we might get to see on the big screen in 2019. Mind you, some of them are already making news for their appearances and who they’re being launched by. It’s safe to say, the coming year will gift us a lot of new and promising faces. So, here’s a comprehensive list of all those actors/actresses we’re looking forward to watching in the New Year.

Abhimanyu Dassani

Abhimanyu is already an actor that has made waves with his performance. For those unaware, he is the son of the Maine Pyar Kiya actress Bhagyasree and has already won the Best New Young Actor Award at The International Film Festival & Awards, Macao for his role in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The movie has tells the story of a young man Surya who suffers from Congenital insensitivity – a rare condition in which one cannot feel pain. The movie is being described as one of the best in the action-comedy genre and we’re super excited to see Abhimanyu in theatres very soon!

Sanjana Sanghi

Technically this might not be her big screen debut, but it definitely is her debut being a leading lady. Sanjana has appeared in mainstream films like Rockstar and Fukrey. But she will make her debut in a leading role alongside Sushant Singh Rajput with Kizzie Aur Manny – the Hindi version of The Fault In Our Stars. If her acting in Rockstar as Nargis Fakhri‘s sister is anything to go by, we have one helluva performance to look forward to.

Zaheer Iqbal

You know it’s going to be an epic debut when Salman Khan himself vouches for you. One of the young stars that Salman announced that he would be launching in the coming year is Zaheer Iqbal. Apparently, Salman spotted Zaheer at his sister’s wedding function and was impressed by his performance deciding then and there that he would launch the young actor. The movie is a love story set in Kashmir called Notebook.

Karan Kapadia

Twinkle Khanna‘s cousin brother Karan Kapadia will be seen in a Tony D’souza directorial next year. And turns out that it was Twinkle’s husband Akshay Kumar that introduced the starlet to the director. He even urged the actor to prep for his debut by giving him fitness tips as well.
