Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba, helmed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar hits the theatres today. With that kind of a team behind the film, no wonder the audience is looking forward to see the action drama. Moreover, it’s the last film of 2018, expectations are definitely running high from this one.
Deepika Padukone went for the special screening of her hubby’s film and Ranveer related her experience of it to the media at a promotional event. He said:
The film is truly a big screen experience. We both watched the film together. Deepika showered praise on Rohit sir, I was waiting for her to talk about me. She is very proud of me and Rohit sir.
Rohit further said this about the film:
The film makes you happy and cry. I am not saying it is Mughal-e-Azam. But it does give you a high. You will clap, cry and you will get that emotional jolt.
