Remember the striped pantsuits from our dad’s work closet of the ’80s? Well, they are making a comeback in an androgynous way and taking over our closet. It’s not just the classic pinstripes that are being recreated but even the oversized slouchy silhouette is currently trending. The classic print has now become cool again with this throwback trend. Some celebs have totally nailed the look and took on the trend like a pro. Just this week, we spotted Kangana Ranaut and Karisma Kapoor at the airport sporting the look that we can take inspo from.
Keeping it classic, Kangana went for a double-breasted blazer and flared trousers from H&M. This one was an upgrade to the classic pinstripe pantsuit. She accessorised it with a mini lady Dior quilted handbag, Dior pointed-toe heels and round sunglasses.
Karisma took a more casual route with her pinstripe coordinates. Celebrity stylist Eshaa Amiin chose a longline pinstripe jacket with matching straight-cut pants and teamed with a printed, collared top underneath. The fashionable ensemble was from Integument, which she styled with oversized wayfarers, strappy black heels and brown Hermès Birkin bag.
