Remo D’Souza‘s upcoming dance film has been in the news for a while now. Initially, Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif were supposed to be a part of it but Katrina had to back out because of other professional commitments. Soon after, there were reports of Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan being considered for the role. But now, it is confirmed that Shraddha has been roped in for the yet untitled film.

Shraddha said:

I’m excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhudehva sir and Varun after ABCD 2. This was made possible by Bhushanji who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up.

Remo also had something to share:

It feels like old friends have come together to help us. We have worked as a team in the past and I’m sure it will be a fun ride again.

Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film said that the plan is to make India’s biggest dance film in 3D, “The audience has already seen Varun and Shraddha’s chemistry, now, Remo will redefine dance for our audience,” he said. Lizelle D’Souza, who is co-producing the film also said that their team is now complete. “Shraddha is a beautiful and hardworking girl and we had fun in all our previous work with her. It’s time to start rolling now,” she said.
In the film, Varun will be seen playing a boy from Punjab, who grows up in London. So a major chunk of the film will be shot in the UK. The film will also mark the acting debut of Shakti Mohan and Vartika Jha. The team is still on the hunt for a foreign dancer.
