It’s easy to miss out but red sarees have been a quintessential part of Bollywood. Whether it was Kareena Kapoor Khan grooving to Chammak Challo or Anushka Sharma channelling her inner heroine in a snow-clad area in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the red saree has had some iconic moments on the silver screen. Off-screen too our B-Town beauties take on the blazing hue like it’s NBD. This time around it’s Malaika Arora who took on the red saree style and made it her own.
Taking on the challenge of creating this red saree moment was celebrity stylist Maneka Harisinghani. Apt for a cultural occasion, she chose this contemporary saree by Misha Lakhani. The sleeveless blouse and the belt at the waist did the trick to make this desi look modern. To add the boho touch, she styled the ensemble with a chunky statement necklace from Roopa Vohra Fine Jewellery.
The beauty look went along with the vibe as makeup artist Monnie K went with dewy bronzy face with shiny red lips and celebrity hairstylist Hiral Bhatia styled her mane in a low bun.
