We’re just petering out of the wedding season and the array of ethnic style that we witnessed, especially from our B-town beauties was incredible. But some that dared to think out of the box were the ones that stood out for us. As usual with Sonam Kapoor, we expected the unexpected and she delivered. Just recently she sported a braided updo that would suit any street style look.
Sonam Kapoor gave a badass twist to her desi look this wedding season. Her kalidar, embellished kurta by Rohit Bal, was accessorised with heritage jewellery from her mom Sunita Kapoor‘s vanity. The stellar maang tikka grabbed our attention instantly because of the hairstyle. Celebrity hairstylist Alpa Khimani styled her mane in six boxer braids that were drawn into a low bun. Now we would have expected a French braid for a desi look but killer boxer braids were a surprising twist to the look that we totally love! The intense smokey eyes by celebrity makeup artist Mehak Oberoi matched the vibe of the braids.
Always showing us a new cool way, Sonam has done it again and has given us a contemporary look just with a change in the hairstyle.
