Uma Thurman in Kill Bill

Uma Thurman‘s Kill Bill is one of Quentin Tarantino’s martial arts film that went on to become a cult classic. Closer to home, all I can remember is a Bollywood disaster that rhymes with this flick. Don’t worry, while there’s no 2nd part coming up for Kill Dil, we have some other interesting news.
Kill Bill is going to be remade in Hindi and the script will be penned by none other than Anurag Kashyap. Nikhil Dwivedi, who turned producer last year with the blockbuster Veere Di Wedding, will be producing this film as well. While Nikhil has known Anurag for years and was even supposed to act in one of his films, this will be the first time we will be getting to see the collaboration between Nikhil and Anurag. If both their producer and directorial history is anything to go by, this is going to be quite epic. The film is expected to go on floors by mid-2019.
This will also be the first time Kashyap will be taking up a writing project in 10 years, other than the films he’s co-produced or directed. Buzz is that they’ve approached an A-list actress to play the Bollywood counterpart of Uma Thurman. We wonder who it is! Could it be Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra, or Alia Bhatt?
We can’t wait to find out!
