Last Friday, 25th January we saw the release of the film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The film has received mixed reviews but Kangana Ranaut has won acclaim for her portrayal as Manikarnika. The film was in the news much before its release for various reasons. Right from Kangana taking over as the director to Karni Sena protesting the release of the film. Among all these reports, there was also the news of actor Sonu Sood walking out of it midway.
As per reports, a chunk of Sonu’s role was to be deleted from the film. Reportedly, Kangana had asked Krish, the director of the film, to remove some scenes. Now, we have just got our hands on a leaked video of the scene that Sonu was originally a part of.

If reports are to be believed, this was the scene which led to the actor’s exit from the period drama. Sonu, who was playing the role of Sadashiv Bhalerao, was told this wouldn’t make it to the final cut. That itself was enough for him to walk away from the project.
Soon after, actor Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub (right, in the photo above) was cast in place of Sonu for the role.
