The above meme is so 2000-and-late it’s almost natural for a millennial to reply to any passing flirty (non-creepy) gesture with a Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe. The internet has evolved into a space where memes and meme makers rule the content charts so much that even my family WhatsApp group is well-versed with the likes of above. And you know it’s time to start searching for a new meme repository when your parents start sending you viral memes.
So, there I was on the explore page of my Instagram on a fine working day when I stumbled upon one of the most hilarious meme pages. This profile is a breath of fresh air thanks to the gold mine of early-90s Bollywood movie scenes and songs they’ve tapped into. Much like Bollywood‘s music industry, who’ve realised rehashing 90s music will translate into at least a million views on Youtube, this meme page has made some good use of Bollywood in the 90s. Let me add that, their content, unlike our music industry, is original. The epic use of Bollywood songs to relatable sexual as well other real-life situations, in my opinion, makes this Instagram page hilarious.
Mind you, this page is not for the weak-hearted, offense taking janta who gasps at the mention of anything related to sex. You will find your favourite stars including Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukherji and many others put to hilarious use thanks to the movies they did back in the 90s.
So, proceed with caution! And if you’re part of the crowd that’s probably going to say ‘ew’ to sexual scenarios, don’t proceed at all.
