Most people believe that Lakmé Fashion Week is only about the clothes. However, true beauty junkies know that the hair and makeup seen at these shows is equally important! From colourful eyeshadow to chic braids, we’ve seen a ton of trendsetting beauty moments over the past few days. Here’s a round up of some of our favourite looks!
1. Metallic Blue Lids At Tilla By Aratrik Dev Varman
Big curls, gleaming eyes and a blue inner corner highlight… doesn’t this look give off major ocean vibes?
2. Orange Hues At Gazal Mishra
Using orange eyeshadow is always considered an experiment, but the models took it a step further by wearing the shade just below their brows.
3. Glistening Skin At Kanika Goyal Label
I’m legit obsessed with the blinding silver highlight and glossy lips.
4. Graphic Liner And Tassel Braids At Payal Singhal
Talk about edgy! With a negative space between their eyeliner and those embellished braids, the models at this show were super fierce.
5. Red Liner And Messy Brows At Verandah
Looking to switch up your regular black liner? Take a leaf out this look and opt for a matte red instead. I also love how the designer veered away from groomed eyebrows and went for this brushed out look instead.
6. Pearl Accents At The Gen Next Show
The makeup at this show was definitely focused on the eyes. The bright yellow shadow and inclusion of pearls on both, the upper and lower lash line, kept the vibe fresh and peppy.
7. Blue Lashes At Péro
Whilst the coral lipstick and winged liner were gorgeous, it was the blue-tinted lashes that grabbed everyone’s attention! Here’s quick tutorial to achieving this look if you would like to try it out.
8. Glitter Lips At Manoj Agarrwal
Glitter is always a good idea and this look proves that perfectly! The chunky sparkles gave off a rock-and-roll vibe and were complemented by the reverse liner and retro curls.
9. Liquified Metal At Nikhil Thampi
This is probably the most wearable look I’ve come across. The molten bronze lids looked glitzy and elegant, without being too over the top.
10. Artsy Reds At Shantanu & Nikhil
With strokes of red shadow extending out of the eyes and bold, matte lips, the models definitely upped the drama this week.
11. Purple Pouts At Sailesh Singhania
The contrasting makeup seen on these models was incredible. The grey-toned purple lipstick stood out beautifully against the silver eye makeup in the chicest way possible.
