One of the best things about being an actor is that they can live multiple characters through their films. Sanya Malhotra, who is currently riding high on the success of her latest film, Badhaai Ho, will next be seen in Ritesh Batra‘s directorial, Photograph. In the film, she will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati girl for the first time on the big screen. It will be even more interesting as the actress hails from a Punjabi family and has been born and raised in Delhi.
Sanya will be playing a Mumbaikar and is excited to be a part of the film. And of course, working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui has doubled her excitement. For the film, the actress visited Marine Drive, The Gateway of India, Haji Ali and Juhu Chowpatty to get the sense and feels of ancient Mumbai right. Sanya also used to click pictures on the sets which she has added to her collection.
Sanya has had an interesting Bollywood journey till now. From playing a wrestler in Dangal to a girl-next-door in Badhaai Ho, her performances have been pretty impressive. Not only that, she is a trained dancer and her videos have set the social media on fire.

Coming back to Photograph, the film is written and directed by Ritesh Batra, presented by Amazon Studious in association with The Match Factory and will release in India on 8th March 2019.
