Popular TV couple, Raqesh Bapat and Ridhi Dogra have reportedly decided to split after being married for 7 years. The news came as a shock to us as the two are one of our favourite couples and have thousands of shippers all across the country. In a joint official statement, they confirmed the sad news to their fans and well-wishers.
As per a report in BL, the statement read:
Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.
Raqesh and Ridhi met on the sets of their show, Maryada… Lekin Kab Tak and the reason for them parting ways is not known yet. They are currently living separately and plan to file for a divorce soon. Ridhi’s brother, Akshay Dogra further confirmed it saying:
Life shouldn’t be treated dramatically, it’s a choice to live happily and coexist with love and compassion.
This is very sad news indeed and we really hope the couple still finds a way to make their relationship work somehow.
