Tanushree Dutta accusing Nana Patekar of sexual harassment started the #MeToo movement in Bollywood last year. Since then, a number of actors have spoken in support of the movement and also expressed their opinion about it. Recently, veteran actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha was asked about the #MeToo movement at a book launch event.

He said:

In the era of #MeToo, there is no hesitation in saying that behind every successful man’s fall also, there is a woman. I consider myself very lucky that in today’s time even after several instances, my name did not pop up in #MeToo movement. That’s why I always obey my wife or make her my shield when I step out of the house.

This comment of his didn’t go down well with a number of people and amongst them was also television actor, Nakuul Mehta. The Ishqbaaaz actor took to Twitter and reacted to Mr. Sinha’s opinion.
