Most of us have been or will fall in love more than once in our lifetimes. And the one thing that you will agree with is that there are a million ways of saying I love you without actually saying those words. One of them and one of my top favourites is through poetry. They might be considered to be cheesy by some but always manage to bring a smile on the face of the one you love. It is one of the oldest forms of confessing your love and Bollywood actor-director, Farhan Akhtar seems to agree. It was yesterday that Farhan posted a photo with some uber-romantic lines for his sweetheart, Shibani Dandekar.

Check it out:

Here’s what his entire caption read,

“Tum muskuraado zaraa
Chiraag jalaado zaraa
andhera hataado zaraa
roshni phailaado zaraa ❤️⭐️ @shibanidandekar”

Which could loosely translate to, “one smile from you can make all the darkness fade away”. Aww! Isn’t that sweet?!

He recently posted a photo of himself with equally poetic lines written by Gulzar Sahab:

It’s caption read, “Badi lambi guftagu karni hai
Tum aana ek poori zindagi lekar”

This has to be one of my favourites and could mean, “There’s a lifetime of conversations that I want to have with you. Don’t rush away once you finally arrive.”

Looks like romance is in the air for the lovebirds with Valentine’s Day just around the corner.
