Newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas or #Nickyanka is another couple the internet can’t stop obsessing over. From their multiple wedding ceremonies, receptions to many of their vacays, everything makes the news. I have no complaints because I’m just as invested in their love story as the rest of the internet. When you see a picture of Nick looking lovey-eyed when looking at PeeCee you legit can’t help but go aww.
So, it’s about time the internet and the media start acting like every other aunty at a function — either asking when you’re planning to get married or if you’re hitched when you’d be having your first baby. Turns out celebrities have it no different than us because they get asked the same questions virtually in front of the entire world. During the promotions of her latest movie Isn’t It Romantic, PeeCee was also asked when she would be starting a family. But, like the cool gal that she is, Priyanka brushed it aside saying it’ll happen when it will happen.
While talking to People, she said
We both know that that’s something that needs to happen, but it’s not something I think about very much. We’re both very driven, we love our work, we’re married to our work, and we’re both very supportive of each other’s work. So I’m sure it will happen in an organic way. We definitely want kids, and when the time is right, it will happen.
On the work front, Priyanka is currently working on a feature film based on Ma Anand Sheela.
