In March 2018, we were shocked to know that Irrfan Khan was suffering from a rare form of cancer. He left for London soon after to undergo treatment for neuroendocrine tumour. During this period, he returned to India only once during Diwali.
Despite his request for privacy, false rumours about his condition still floated around. The actor himself updated his fans and well-wishers about his health a couple of times and his wife, Sutapa Sikdar also opened up about dealing with this sad news.
As per a report in Mid-Day, Irrfan is now back home in Mumbai. A source close to him confirmed his arrival and further said that he’ll have an update about his health soon. Reportedly, Irrfan will soon resume work as well, starting with the sequel to Hindi Medium and Vishal Bharadwaj‘s next co-starring Deepika Padukone.
We are glad to know the global star is back in town and hope he will be a fit as a fiddle soon enough.
