On top of the list of 90s Bollywood songs that are being rehashed and reproduced is Salman Khan‘s classic O O Jaane Jaana. *I’m not crying, you’re crying* The only thing that is making this news a little better is that Salman Khan himself will be appearing in this recreated version along with Katrina Kaif. The duo will be making a special appearance through the song in Kat’s younger sister Isabelle Kaif‘s debut movie Time To Dance. This is reported to be a promotional song for the dance based movie that also stars Sooraj Pancholi.
The film will have two versions of the song one that will introduce Sooraj in a way that is similar to Salman’s grand entry on the same track in Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya back in 1998 and the other with Kat and Salman. While the song will be a modern version of the original, the OG singer of the track Kamaal Khan will be lending his voice for the new track as well.
Directed by debutant Stanley D’Costa and produced by Remo D’souza and Bhushan Kumar, the shooting of Time To Dance was completed last year and it will be releasing sometime in 2019.
