It’s not every day that we see Kajol looking oh-so-fine in a desi avatar, but when we do, it’s always in a really good outfit. We spotted her over the weekend in a Shivan and Narresh saree which definitely makes it to the top of our list when it comes to our Bollywood ladies wearing desi wear. The Urvi sheer saree included a verdant skein border that holds its roots in the Bengal and Odisha region of eastern India.
But enough of the history lesson, let’s just stop and stare at how good Kajol looks!
Stylist, Aastha Sharma picked up this designer piece from Shivan and Narresh‘s #PatuSeries that we spotted on their Summer/Resort ’19 runway at Lakmé Fashion Week.

#PatuGirl | The narrative intricacies of Hindu mythological characters craftily displayed through the vibrant translation on the Patt or the canvas of Pattachitra and Tholu Bommalata art form. With its roots in the Bengal and Odisha region of eastern India, the chitrakars or the artists demonstrate an intense series of emotions through the characters, while striving to a single hue as an unsaid rule. . . . #ShivanAndNarresh #PatuSeries #FestiveSeason #Pattachitra #TholuBommalata #CelebrationWear
The #PatuSeries includes a perfect blend of functionally sustainable fabrics, beautifully mixed with fashion, making a case for our rich heritage. Kajol embodies class and a kind of regal glamour that nobody can beat. We love how she worked this look to the T.
