We all get excited when we see our favourite Bollywood celebrity in person. And the next thought in our head is ‘I want a photo’ with the star. Where some fans politely ask for a selfie, some go to the extent of forcing the celebs and sometimes grabbing them too. Something similar happened with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor is currently in Kanpur for the shoot of his next film, Raat Akeli Hai which is directed by debutant director Honey Trehan. In the film, Nawaz is playing the role of a police officer who is investigating a murder.

The film’s unit was initially shooting at Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) Hospital in the Swaroop Nagar area till Friday. Then on Saturday, the entire cast and crew headed to Bithoor to shoot some more scenes. Everything was smooth till then, but on Sunday, when the team was heading to Kotwali, an unpleasant event took place.

Nawaz was busy shooting for his scenes when a huge crowd turned up on the sets to see the actor and also click a picture with him. Amidst shoot, a crazy fan of Nawaz got close to him and grabbed him by his neck. Despite tight security, the fan managed to dodge the bouncers and the policemen surrounding the actor, and ran up to him and tried to click a selfie by pulling him behind.

Below is the video of the entire episode:

This definitely is scary.

However, the cops on duty were quick to act and they immediately rushed to Nawazuddin’s rescue and nabbed the man and took him away from the actor and the shoot location.
