In an age where Bollywood actresses are pitted against each other for everything from their outfits to films, it’s refreshing to see them negate the negativity. It’s wonderful to see them chilling together and prove the nincompoops who still believe in “cat fights” wrong.

Bhumi Pednekar will soon be seen in Pati, Patni Aur Woh alongside Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan. As per reports, Bhumi’s role was first offered to Taapsee Pannu and the two actresses are now coming together for Anurag Kashyap‘s Saand Ki Aankh. Contrary to what was expected, there was no awkwardness between the ladies.

Taapsee told Bollywood Hungama that it was Bhumi who reached out to her with an apology lest things get awkward between them. She said:

I was like, “Why are you apologising? It’s not your fault.” She was somewhere conscious that it shouldn’t make it awkward between us during Saand Ki Aankh. I was very clear it’s not going to affect anything between us. We have never discussed this ever again.

That’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful of both the ladies. We are looking forward to watch them in Saand Ki Aankh, which is based on the lives of India’s oldest female sharpshooters – Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.
