Since it was announced that the Game of Thrones season 8 will be the last season, people all over the world went bananas! And HBO has been killing it with keeping the fever alive by dropping teasers and first looks out of the blue. But sh*t just got real when the official trailer of Game of Thrones season 8 finally dropped on Tuesday!
Arya Stark opens the trailer looking injured and breathing heavily, trying to run from something in the eerie corridors and saying, ‘I know death’. The trailer then cuts to Samwell Tarly, Bran and Brienne of Tarth who look like they’re gearing up for a big war ahead of them. We also get to see a brief look of Cersei with Qyburn later into the trailer.
Daenerys and Jon reach Winterfell riding their horses with a fierce look on their faces. And if you thought why the hell haven’t the dragons come yet, you’ll be happy to see them fly above the Starks castle, leaving Sansa and Arya shocked. And while all of this heart-thumping kinda situation is happening everywhere in the trailer, Cersei can be seen sipping her wine at King’s Landing looking unbothered and unaffected.
The trailer comes to an end with what we have all been waiting for! The army men come face to face with the Night King’s horse as it puts its foot on the land. The two-minute long trailer has made us all more curious and anxious than ever, leaving us behind with so many questions. You can watch the gripping trailer here.
