Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas‘ wedding in Jodhpur, India, was a private affair but the families did have a blast. We saw the fun photos of the Chopras and Jonas at the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies and they all looked like one big happy family. We have also seen photos of the couple spending enough time with each other’s families and we know that Priyanka shares a good equation with Nick’s family. But there is one member who wasn’t too fond of her initially.
Recently, Nick along with his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden and spoke about a number of things. And it was during the episode that Kevin revealed his younger daughter, Valentina Jonas didn’t like PeeCee at first. The host, James Corden asked the Jonas Brothers if the family had warmed up to the new member of the family, referring to Priyanka. To this, Kevin replied:
They definitely do now. At first, it was a little rough going for my youngest daughter Valentina. She’s very connected to Nick. But when she met Priyanka, Priyanka put her hand around his shoulder and every time every time her hand would go around, and he was holding Valentina, she would just push it off. I’m not sure if Priyanka loved it first, but they’re cool.

On the show, Nick also spoke about Priyanka’s brother, Siddharth Chopra‘s roka ceremony which was recently held in Delhi. He explained what the ceremony is to the audience and also mentioned how his approval of the union was also important.
