Around 15 years ago, it was just society that included random aunties and uncles that used to tell girls what they are supposed to do and how they are supposed to behave. With the advent of social media, it has opened up a Pandora’s box of opinions, suggestions, and abuses that society couldn’t throw at our faces in the real world. This has what trolls on social media resort to doing. Hide behind the anonymity of their social media handles with no sense of social responsibility. Because 90% chances are that what you would never say what you so easily spew at another person to their face.

Bollywood actresses are top targets for such online hate and over time some of these Boss babes have mastered the art of hitting back at trolls in the classiest way possible. While many say ignoring them is the best way to let hate die out, there are times when these beauties have hit back and we wanted to give them a round of applause.

So, here are 7 actresses who’ve given fitting replies to trolls:

Priyanka Chopra

There might have been just wat too many times when this global superstar has been trolled. But one such instance was when she had met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Berlin. Trollers on social media wasted no time in calling PeeCee shameless for wearing a dress that showed her legs while meeting the PM. After the uproar that her picture with the PM created on the interweb, PeeCee chose to reply to her roles in the sassiest way possible. With another picture showing off her legs while she sits next to her.

Sonam Kapoor

Again Sonam has been another actress that has bee subjected to online haters. Recently she was called out for wearing her mangalsutra on her wrist. But honestly, Sonam had better things to be bothered about. While talking to IANS about the same she said,

I feel sorry for them because the only reason they are commenting on my posts because I am of importance and they are not. They are trying to gain importance from that.

Taapsee Pannu

It’s funny how random people on the internet feel it is okay to tell women what they should and should not wear. And Bollywood actresses are not spared the horror either. This happened to Taapsee as well when she posted a picture of her wearing a bikini from the sets of Judwaa 2 on Twitter.

One asked her to not put up such ‘gandi‘ pictures and spoil the youth of our country.

And Taapsee replied saying,

The other troller said, “In our country, we have freedom of expression, so why don’t you remove the remaining clothes also. Your brother must be feeling proud of you after watching this.

To this, the actress lashed back with swag anusar sarcasm and we loved it.

Sonakshi Sinha

If there’s one epic call out she did on her social media was to the king of all trolls, Kamaal R Khan. The popular troller called Sonakshi and Parineeti Chopra sumo wrestlers. It’s safe to say Sona gave him a royal smackdown with this tweet:

Hell yeah!

Neha Dhupia

Turns out when you’re a celebrity and a woman, people over the internet think it is their duty to inform you of their opinion of you. That’s what a troll did after Neha announced her wedding to Angad Bedi He said, “2 sal chota hai tumse angad bedi..husband nehi bhai hai tumhara..rakhi phenao.” Being the boss woman that she is, Neha replied, “Thanks for the advise buddy! Now do me a favour…go get a life!”

Richa Chadha

Richa Chadha wasted no time in calling out to Twitter to act upon a troll that threatened her with rape. And we have to say, well done, Richa.

Swara Bhasker

Swara is one actress who has never held back when it comes to giving it back to her trolls. This Valentine’s Day, she made sure she answered all her trolls once and for all with this video of hers.
