Back in the day, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit were one of the most iconic on-screen pairings Bollywood has seen. It also helped that there were rumours about them dating each other during the early 90s as well. They reportedly broke up after Sanjay Dutt’s involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blast case. Ever since the two haven’t been seen together on or off-screen. But Karan Johar has managed to pull off a casting coup with probably the most epic ensemble cast for his upcoming movie Kalank. This also includes Sanjay and Madhuri. The teaser is finally out and is magnificent.
During the launch of the trailer, the hit jodi was asked how it was to work together after so long. While Sanju baba seemed a little awkward at first, he kept it brief.
He said,
It felt good to work together after a long time. I’ll try to work more with her.
And Madhuri further added,
We are working together after more than 20 years. Recently, I worked with Anil after a long time. It’s always wonderful to work with actors you’ve worked with before. Even here, it was wonderful.
The teaser of Kalank looks amazing and we can’t wait to see Madhuri and Sanjay on-screen together. The little glimpse that we got of them has caused fans to lose all calm.
