A brand new star collaboration on screen never fails to pique the audience’s interest in a film. So you can imagine that our excitement levels were through the roof when we got to know that Alia Bhatt is in talks with THE Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next film.
Bollywood’s wonder child and a distinguished filmmaker such as Mr. Bhansali coming together for the first time ever – what could be better than this, right?! We’ll tell you. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been approached to play the male leads in the film. The three megastars are the frontrunners for SLB’s next and if all goes well, they’ll be signing the dotted line soon enough. Isn’t that amazing?!
If the association materialises, Sallu and Mr. Bhansali will be working together after almost 2 decades, after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). Similarly for SRK, he will be working the ace filmmaker after Devdas, which released in 2002. The film will also be Alia’s first film with Salman and second with SRK after Dear Zindagi.
