Are you the kind of person who loves reading good fiction novels? There are so many classics that one can read multiple times, right? There are a few in particular that we’re fond of like The Notebook, The Fault In Our Stars and A Walk to Remember. But one of our fave novels of all times that even made it to the big screen is P.S. I Love You. It released in 2004 and the movie made based on it was a blockbuster hit starring Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank. We were in tears by the climax of the story and it left us feeling all mushy. And we’re so psyched to announce that this heart-melting book is getting a sequel! Yup, you read that right. And you’re a fan like us, you might be jumping with joy too! Scroll down for all the deets.

About the original book

P.S. I Love You was a beautiful story of a happily married couple who are crazy in love with each other but only some time into the marriage, Holly‘s husband Gerry is diagnosed with brain tumour and before he dies, he writes ten loving letters to his wife guiding her through this tough time. And at the ends every letter with “P.S. I Love You“. This book got a lot of recognition and was a bestseller for a really long time.

On March 11th, Cecelia Ahern, the author of P.S. I Love You recently tweeted to her fans stating that she’s finished writing the sequel to the bestseller. She said that the book will be on the shelves at the end of this year.

More on the sequel

The sequel is called Postscript and while we’re not sure about the plot of the novel, both the lead characters from the original book, Gerry and Holly will be featured in it this time too. Cecelia even posted a picture of the book next to the original book for people to see.

We’re really excited and we’re absolutely ready to cry our eyes out all over again. Are you as enthu as us? Tell us in the comments below.
