It’s almost a decade since Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor decided to part ways, but that doesn’t stop their fans from getting super excited whenever they spot the two together. Recently, Asian Paints released an advertisement in which we got to see the two superstars together on-screen after a gap of 3 years. They were last paired opposite each other in Imtiaz Ali‘s Tamasha. While both of them and their respective partners have always been riddled with questions from the media whether everyone involved is okay with the duo working together after their history; they have proved time and again that it is absolutely fine. And their recent ad is more proof that they remain great friends.
But what’s got us talking about them is a little brand event they both attended last night. In a video from the event, we see both of them busting out the hook step of Deepika’s hubby Ranveer Singh‘s superhit dance number Aankh Marey.

The event, in general, looked like great fun and it was hosted by Bharti Singh and Maniesh Paul. Karan Johar was also present at the event taking the evening to the next level.
Bharti even made Deepika groove to Ghoomar from Padmaavat.

They even managed to sing Happy Birthday for Karan’s mom Hiroo Johar.
Now, this looks like a super fun get together, doesn’t it? Deepika and Ranbir were even photographed outside after the event chatting before they left the venue. They were twinning too!

We absolutely love how DP and RK have busted any or every speculation about them being uncomfortable to work with each other. While we love #DeepVeer, we adore seeing Deepika and Ranbir on-screen together. So, we hope they do more projects where we get to see them being their amazing selves.
