That Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in a relationship is something that we all know by now. And of late, we have seen them being all lovey-dovey together at various award shows. The couple danced to Ishq Wala Love and Alia also publicly declared her love for Ranbir. Soon after, reports of the couple already being engaged started doing the rounds.
Not only that, but there are also rumours about the couple tying the knot this year which have been doing the round for a while now. In an interview with Filmfare, the Kapoor & Sons actress has finally addressed to the reports. Talking about her ‘secret roka’ ceremony, the actress said that there was no roka happening for her.
Alia said:
The only ‘Roka’ I’m going to is the restaurant in London. There’s no roka happening for me. And why are you putting a year to my marriage?
When Alia was asked if Ranbir was a difficult person, she had said that he is not difficult at all and called him a gem. “He’s a supremely simple person. He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am,” she shared.
Talking about her marriage, she said that it is the only thing that is irritating her right now. “Every morning I wake up to the news that I’m getting married. I tell him what the hell. I guess he’s used to it,” she said.
Alia and Ranbir will be seen in Brahmastra and this is the first time they are doing a film together. The Ayan Mukerji directorial also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy, and will be releasing in December this year.
