Fun and quirky- that’s exactly how we’d say Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna‘s relationship is. They’ve never missed a chance to pull each other’s leg and their banter on Twitter has always cracked us up. So when Akshay and Twinkle made an appearance together at the HT Most Stylish Awards, it was no different.
On the red carpet, the Kesari actor was asked if Twinkle has any influences on his style. “100%,” he said, however, Twinkle, had a very different opinion on it. “Not at all. He has more shoes than me. He’s got pants pink, green, lilac, dark purple, yellow. He has at least 350 pair of shoes,” she said. To this, Akshay said, “Didn’t you tell me to buy that?” Twinkle replied, “I did but I didn’t tell you to buy the whole rainbow.”
They were also asked who took longer to get ready, to which, Mrs Funnybones said, “I do. He is very quick but he also has a room that is dedicated to his clothes. It’s an altered to his fashion sense. He has got 11 people who help him get ready, I have no one. So yeah, I do take a bit longer but under the circumstances it is understandable.”
Twinkle also shared the one thing she hates that Akki wears and she doesn’t approve of. “Track pants and hoodies. The last time I wanted him to get rid of one, I actually had to cut it,” she said. “She actually doesn’t like my track pants and hoodies,” Akshay confirmed. Further saying that he tried to explain to her that he feels very comfortable and at home and hence he prefers wearing a track pant and a hoodie. “I feel nice in a hoodie kyuki khula khula rehta hoon. Mujhe aadat hai khule rehne ki,” he explained. To this, Twinkle said, “I have so many things to say but I am controlling myself.”
This is the kind of relationship I want to be in. We love Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna.
