Alia Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut are both actresses that have managed to leave us amazed by their performances on the big screen. In fact, up until recently, both of them looked forward to each other’s work when it was announced and had said so on Koffee With Karan 5 as well. Unfortunately, after the release of Kangana’s film Manikarnika, she called out all of Bollywood for not having supported her project. She specifically targetted Alia for not doing so. But even then Alia had maintained that she had done nothing to upset KR intentionally and if that was the case, she would apologize personally. But Kangana wasn’t ready to forgive so easily. Recently when an entertainment portal reached out to her comparing her performance in Manikarnika to Alia’s in Gully Boy, she said she was embarrassed. She even went on to call Alia’s performance mediocre. Up until now, Alia had remained tight-lipped about the same, but in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she reacted to Kangana’s statement about her.

She said,

I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I  respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.

We love how Alia takes criticism in her stride as well and not take it to heart. We hope Kangana and Alia can sort out the issues soon enough because they’re two of the best we have! On the work front, Alia is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming release Kalank, while Kangana wrapped up her shoot for her next film, Panga.
